Every cookie this site sets, what it does and how long it lasts. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set unless you agree to it.

Open the settings panel whenever you like — it is the cookie settings link, here and in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered for twelve months and then we ask again.
1. What a cookie is
A small text file that a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise the same browser next time. Some are necessary for a site to work at all — a login, a form, a security token. Others exist to count visitors or to advertise. We use very few of any kind, and this page lists all of them.
2. Your choice, and how it is taken
On your first visit a bar appears at the foot of the page with three options: Accept all, Reject all, and Cookie settings. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary items in the first table below is set until you choose. Rejecting is one click, exactly like accepting, and the site works identically either way.
Your choice is stored in your browser and kept for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time using the settings link, and clearing your browser data will also clear it.
3. Strictly necessary — always on
These cannot be switched off. Without them a form cannot be submitted safely and your cookie choice cannot be remembered.

The last two are held in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies in the strict sense. We list them here because the practical effect is the same and you are entitled to know about them.
4. Analytics — off unless you switch it on
If you accept analytics, we count page views so we know which parts of this site are useful and which are ignored. The counts are aggregated, and we do not use them to identify anybody or to follow you anywhere else.

5. Marketing — off unless you switch it on
If you accept marketing cookies, our packages may be shown to you on other websites. We set nothing in this category unless you have switched it on, and if you never do, nothing in this table is ever placed on your device.

6. What this site does not do
- No advertising network cookie is set unless you switch marketing on
- No social media tracking pixel of any kind is embedded on any page
- No third-party script runs before you have made a choice
- No cookie on this site relates to gambling activity, and none is used to encourage anyone to gamble
- Nothing here is sold, traded or shared with a data broker
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Every modern browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking everything will stop the enquiry form from working properly, because the security token that protects it needs a session cookie. Blocking analytics and marketing costs you nothing at all.
8. Fonts and external resources
This site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. That request necessarily tells Google your IP address, as any request to any server does. No cookie is set by it. Everything else on the site — the stylesheet, the script, all photographs — is served from wintercape.com.
9. Changes
We review this page whenever the site changes and at least once a year. This is version 2.4, dated 12 February 2026.
