02 Directions Four ways in

Cambridge Terrace runs one way, north-east.

From Christchurch Airport — twelve kilometres, about twenty minutes outside the peaks and half an hour inside them. Memorial Avenue to Fendalton Road, through the park on Riccarton Avenue, right at the hospital, and we are four hundred metres along on the left. A taxi runs about NZ$45; the Purple Line bus takes fifty minutes and stops a six-minute walk away. We will arrange a car for NZ$95 if you would rather not think about it.

From the railway station at Addington — four kilometres, twelve minutes. The TranzAlpine gets in at 6.05pm and every taxi in the city knows the address.

Driving from the north — State Highway 1 to the Northern Corridor, Cranford Street, Bealey Avenue, right into Durham, then left. From the south — SH1 to Brougham Street, left onto Antigua, and along the river. Do not follow a satnav into the Oxford Terrace bus lanes; it will try, and it is an expensive mistake.

On foot from Cathedral Square — six minutes, straight down Worcester Boulevard past the Art Gallery and left at the river. From Riverside Market, three minutes along the water.

03 Enquiries Reception answers, not a robot

Write to us and a person writes back.

Rooms, dinner, an event, the spa, the Cape Room, or a question that does not fit any of those. The form goes to the reception desk in this building and is read by whoever is on it.

It does not take payment and it does not confirm a booking. We reply with availability and a rate, and if something cheaper would suit you better we will say so.
